Quick tip: How to set a knob-style thermostat

I happened to overhear one of our technical service representatives explaining how to properly set the thermostat on our electric fireplaces and I thought it was noteworthy.

Our thermostats work with both convection and fan-forced heaters. We offer two thermostats: Electronic and Line Voltage. This tip will work for both products.

It’s actually really easy and can save you money by avoiding overheating a room. Basically, once the room reaches the temperature you want, turn the thermostat knob slowly (the slow part is important) counter clockwise until you hear it click. That is now the correct set point for the thermostat.

Now just sit back and enjoy the comfort and savings.
